I had the privilege of managing the complete renovation of this client’s galley kitchen. The cabinets were dated, the tile floor was cold (and unforgiving for dropped items!), and the lighting was inefficient. we removed everything down to the bare walls and floor. White oak wood floors were installed to match the floors in adjacent rooms, and new, maple Kraftmaid cabinets were installed to maximize the storage space and show off the couple’s Mexican pottery. Pull-out pantry cabinets were added since the room did not incorporate a pantry. Stainless cabinet pulls repeat the appliance finish. Golden Beach granite countertops, tumbled marble backsplash with accent tiles from DalTile. To brighten the space, we added new 3-light transitional fixtures.
