We’ll start with a 15-30 minute complementary phone conversation to learn about each other and discuss your immediate needs.  If we feel we’re a good fit for each other, I will email you a questionnaire about your family, lifestyle and style preferences and we will schedule the initial "working" meeting.

The charge for this initial in-person meeting is $400.  During this “House Call” we will collect data to determine the scope of work.  We will review the space and discuss your priorities, needs and wants.  We charge for this consultation because we come to your home and usually take measurements, dig deeper to understand how your family lives but also the conditions or restrictions of the space that may make your project more or less difficult to implement.  Covers the time we spend at your home and the time back at the studio customizing your design proposal.  This fee is nonrefundable, and it is not applied toward your design fee presented in your customized proposal and building a scope of work.  To make the most use of our time at the meeting, it is important for you to establish your planned investment in your project prior to my arrival.  If you have a certain ‘look’ in mind, feel free to tear out magazine pages or save images on Pinterest to help me understand the look you are trying to achieve.

I prefer that my client appointments take place Monday through Friday, anytime between 9am-5pm.  If you need to meet outside of these hours, evening and weekend appointments are available ($200/hr).

“My family and I moved to Milton from Texas and I didn’t know anyone here who could recommend an interior designer. I wanted a certain look without spending a ton of money. I’m so glad I found Beth. She’s amazing! She fully renovated my 20-year-old kitchen and saved us thousands of dollars by repairing the wood floor instead of replacing it. With two kids under four, I was concerned about being displaced from my kitchen, but her timelines and updates relieved all my stress. She recommended things I never would have thought of, like converting the desk to a bar area and making room for a walk-in pantry. She replaced the upstairs carpet, redid the laundry room and fireplace, and helped me choose the interior paint colors. Before Beth, I would have tried to do smaller projects on my own, like picking out window treatments. I now see the value of her expertise and will continue to work with her. My neighbors are working with her now, too!”
Blaire Hickman, Milton, GA

“I was ready to renovate my three upstairs bathrooms and kitchen but had never worked with an interior designer before. I was concerned I’d be talked into doing more than I needed or could afford. After interviewing five interior designers, all recommended by friends, I chose Beth Johnson. Beth was so collaborative and patient. A true partner and advocate throughout these projects. I trusted her completely to treat my home like it was hers. Beth dealt with the odd angles of my rooms to make them flow beautifully. Now that I’m working full-time from home with my kids, I can truly enjoy it.”  Renee Lakatos, Milton, GA

“I was Ms. Georgia 2016 and most people see me as a girly girl. My home, especially my living room, did not reflect that. In fact, it was so dark and traditional that I was reluctant to invite guests over and avoided it myself. Then, Beth Johnson transformed it into a glamorous oasis. She’s amazing. Time is a luxury for my husband and me so, when we decided to renovate our master bathroom, living room and patio, we needed a completely turnkey experience. After one conversation, Beth presented a plan that was perfect for us. We shopped for and bought all the furniture in one day. She vetted every vendor and stopped by all the time to make sure the work was done right. From the peaceful color scheme to the fluffy pillows, my living room makes me feel like a princess.”   Nova Pearson Kopp, Roswell, GA

“When it came to renovating our old, dark master bathroom, there were a million choices and that can be overwhelming.  Beth made it easy.  My husband is a landscape architect, so they spoke the same language.  Beth was very respectful about what we wanted, unassuming, and always on time. From choosing the right plumbing fixtures to adding an updated frame to our large powder room mirror, she saved us time and money.  Our new bathroom is bright and beautiful with heated floors and a faux hide rug. Every time I walk in there, I feel like I’m at a spa.”  Terri Manley, Johns Creek, GA
